Krowwn Barber Academy is one of our community resources and partnering institutions. This academy is certified and allows returning neighbors to not just be able to find a job but have a career. Thanks to our partner for coming out and providing FREE HAIR CUTS!

On Thursday, April 2nd MAIC kicked off Second Chance Awareness month by hosting a community Reentry Resource Fair. This event could not have happened without our partners. We would like to acknowledge Bethel AME Church Mobile, Government Street Presbyterian Church,Rev. F. Thompson~Tabernacle Baptist Church, Rev Frazier~Revelation Baptist Church and Rev. B. Hall~St.Luke Baptist Church, our volunteers, vendors and attendees!!!

We Are So Thankful to our Community/Ministry Partners!

The Blessing Bags packed by our youth group will be given out today to our neighbors who have been previously incarcerated and who are trying to positively re-enter our community. Thanks to MAIC - Mobile Area Interfaith Conference for this important outreach and for allowing us to be a small part of it! … “When I was in prison you visited me.”

Come to Tuesday Lunch and Learn at GSPC! Our guest speaker on March 31 will be Aisha Davis, Executive Director of the Mobile Area Interfaith Conference. Lunch is served at noon and the presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $10, which includes drinks and dessert. All are welcome to join us.
