Your dog isn’t pulling because they’re stubborn.

Most dog owners hold the leash too tight and never give their dog a chance to learn.

Here’s a simple dog training tip for loose leash walking:

Give your dog some slack in the leash. The moment they stop paying attention to you, turn and walk the other direction.

Do this every time.

Your dog will start checking in with you instead of pulling you down the sidewalk.

Train your dog to stop pulling on the leash with this one trick. Think about starting a new job. Nobody makes you the manager on day one. You learn it step by step. Your dog is the same way. Start small. Reward him just for paying attention to you, then slowly work up to walking nice on the leash. Give him sniff breaks so he can use his nose instead of dragging you. When he does good, reward him. When he struggles, slow it back down. Be patient and he'll get there. Save this for your next walk and send it to a dog mom who needs it. Stop your dog from pulling on the leash 🐾

If your dog drags you down the street, this leash training trick changes everything. Loose leash walking starts with YOU: lead the walk, give sniff breaks, and reward the good behavior.

Your dog isn't being bad. He just never learned the walk is a team thing.

Girl… if your puppy is CHEWING up your couch, shoes, and everything in sight… this is why 🐶

Your puppy isn’t “bad.” They’re just bored + looking for a job.

Think about it like this:

When people at work get bored… they don’t just sit there.
They start doing stuff.
Messing around.
Finding something to DO.

Your puppy does the exact same thing.

So here’s how you fix puppy chewing fast:

• Don’t just say “no” — give them something RIGHT to chew
• When they go for the wrong thing → calmly redirect EVERY time
• If they keep repeating it → remove access (separation/time-out, no drama)

Simple truth:
What you don’t allow… you don’t train.

Stop reacting.
Start directing.

That’s how you stop destructive puppy behavior for good.

Your puppy isn’t having accidents because they’re stubborn. 🐶💛

You’re probably expecting them to learn at someone else’s pace.

Every puppy is different.

Some puppies figure potty training out fast.
Others need more reps, more structure, and more consistency.

The key?

✅ Get them on a routine.
✅ Take them out after eating, sleeping, and playing.
✅ If accidents keep happening, take them out even more often.
✅ Reward them the SECOND they go potty outside.

Most potty training problems aren’t training problems.

They’re routine problems.

Before you blame your puppy, fix the routine. 👏

Watch this before you clean up another accident. 👇🐾

Your dog isn’t stubborn.

They’re just waiting for the real command.

Think about it…

If every training session sounds like:

“Sit.”
“Sit.”
“Sit.”

Your dog learns they don’t actually need to listen the first time.

Most dogs aren’t ignoring you.

They’re responding exactly how they’ve been taught.

Here’s what to do instead:

Say the command ONCE.

Then be quiet.

Give your dog a chance to think and respond before repeating yourself.

When they do, reward it.

A lot of dog moms are shocked by how much their dog already understands when they stop talking so much.

Try it on your next training session and let me know how it goes.

Your dog isn’t ignoring you.

They’re too overstimulated to listen.

One of the biggest mistakes I see dog moms make is trying to comfort their dog when they’re reacting to another dog, person, or car.

“You’re okay.”
“It’s okay.”
“Calm down.”

The problem?

When your dog’s emotions are already at a 10/10, they aren’t in a mindset to learn from you.

Instead of adding more energy to the situation, become the calmest thing in the environment.

Stand still.
Stay calm.
Wait for your dog to relax.

The moment they show calmer behavior, reward it by moving forward and continuing the walk.

Calm behavior gets them what they want.

If your dog struggles with barking, lunging, or getting overstimulated on walks, this simple shift can make a huge difference.

🚨 Your Puppy Isn’t Ignoring You… You’re Probably Missing This.

Most puppy owners accidentally make potty training 10x harder because they skip one of these 3 simple steps.

🐾 Step #1: Take them out on a leash
🐾 Step #2: Don’t just stand there… there’s a reason movement matters
🐾 Step #3: The biggest mistake? Most owners completely miss this reward timing

Get these 3 things right, and potty training gets a whole lot easier.

Save this for your next potty break. 🐶👇

Dog mamas with a puppy that just will not calm down, this one is for you.

I used to think something was wrong with my dog.

Turns out he just had nowhere to put all that energy.

Three things changed everything for us and none of them are complicated or expensive.

But the one most people skip is the last one, and honestly it might be the most important.

Have you tried a puzzle feeder yet or are you still using a regular bowl?

Puppy mama’s who think their dog is just “difficult.” They’re not.

I used to think the same thing.

I spent months feeling like I was failing my dog before I realized the problem wasn’t him. It was that nobody taught me how to actually speak his language.

Your puppy isn’t stubborn. They’re confused.

And confused dogs don’t need stricter owners. They need clearer ones.

Are you using the same words every single time, or are you switching it up without realizing it?
