We just wrapped up an incredible NAUI TRY SCUBA event in Gulf Shores at the Bodenhamer Community Center pool.

We had 8 veterans and family members gear up, get in the water, and experience SCUBA for the very first time—facing fears, building confidence, and finding a new love for “blowing bubbles” beneath the surface. It was amazing to watch those moments of courage turn into smiles and high-fives.

Helping 2 Overcome is part of the continuum of care at Vets Recover in Mobile AL and we are all about creating opportunities for connection, recovery, and growth through new experiences like this. We’ve got classes and more events coming up in the months ahead, so follow this page for updates and be ready when we announce the next chance to jump in.
