Our sunflowers will be blooming for about 10 days. If you want pictures you can take some but be safe and tread lightly. This field is along Hwy 281 north of Plankinton SD between 247th and 246th street.

We are also hiring people to chase blackbirds out of our fields. It’s a part time job flexible with your schedule. It lasts from August 1st to middle of September. Retired people make the best candidates for this job. Please send a DM if interested in some part time work in the outdoors. All our fields are in the Plankinton SD area so you must live nearby and have a clean record.

We are hosting a cover crop field day next Wednesday after DakotaFest. Stop by on your way home to see how we utilize cover crops in our operation along with other information. Food and beverages will be served. Please call in to register so we can get a good head count, but it isn’t mandatory. See you then.

We are seeking individuals to patrol our Sunflower fields and scare away blackbirds. These fields are located near Mount Vernon and Plankinton, SD. We supply the 4 wheeler and a pickup to travel to the fields from our Mount Vernon Shop. This is a part time position with flexible hours during the week and weekends. 6-30 hours per week depending on what fits you. ATV and hunting experience along with a valid drivers license required. Retired people a plus. Cannot have a felony records.
