If you hang onto anything from me I pray it’s this... when the corn is high, STOP at the corners.

Even if you don’t have a stop sign... STOP at the corners.

Even if you know the other direction has a stop sign... STOP at the corners.

I don’t care if you’re walking, riding a bike, driving an ATV, driving a vehicle, or any piece of farm equipment... STOP at the corners.

Corn is TALL and it blocks all visibility at intersections. Watching for dust flying up during the day or headlights when it is dark just isn’t enough... STOP at the corners.

NEVER trust that whoever might be driving from the other direction will stop. TOO many people have been hurt or killed in accidents at blind corners during the peak of growing season.

Life is precious and being in a hurry just isn’t worth it y’all.. take the extra time and always AWAYS stop at the corners.

I could stand on this soap box all day but I’ll stop here. Just please stop at the corners 🤗.

With the hotter weather coming up If you find an elderly person, Small child, or Animal in a hot car first things first DONT PANIC! Go Inside and have them radio the make model and license plate. Next call US we do not charge to unlock a vehicle in extreme heat cases and can be there in record time (we call these kind of call’s Priority One)! Next call authorities if no response from them inside within 3-5 minutes.
DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BREAK THE WINDOW!!!!! Let authorities handle that!

Great to see the children enjoying and learning about tow trucks 🙂 We also had a great time!

As we progress further into the Summer, make sure you’re taking a few extra seconds when approaching an uncontrolled intersection. As the corn gets taller and taller, it’s becoming harder to see.

Never use gravel dust, headlights, or anything else when judging if someone is coming. Always take your time and double/triple check.

I90 will be closed from the WY State line to Wall, SD tonight at 8pm. Accommodations will be limited in Wall. Adjust travel plans and seek shelter elsewhere. Expect closures for multiple days.
Expect more closures as the storm ramps up.

Interstate from Chamberlain to rapid closed at noon.
