🙌🏻 We have all seen the news and worry about the uncertainty. Childcare funds depend on government but also has differences on each state inner workings.

As of now a lot of information out there on social media and the news but a lot of this has misinformation and incorrect information.

We are pre-planning ahead however we’re not gonna freak out until we’ve heard that South Dakota is starting to freeze additional funds. Some states have been freezing childcare assistance even before now so I’m hopeful that this won’t affect us; I will be diligently assessing the situation and will keep you updated as soon as I get any information to suggest otherwise

South Dakota already has strong audits so I’m hopeful it will not affect us! If you have any questions please let me know.

We had a wonderful day with family; kids playing, opening presents, and spent the day with eachother! Finally done and playing games at home.

🦃 🥧 I love Thanksgiving! Kids running around playing and possibly fighting 😉 time just seems to stay still for once and we get the day relaxing and enjoying family! Here’s to the full day of games, quality time, and snacks 🦃 🥧

This weekend October 31st-November 2nd 9am-11am FREE MEAL to help those struggling with the continued government shut down!

Taco John's® is here to support our neighbors and community members in need. From October 31 to November 2, anyone impacted by the government shutdown and in need of a meal can visit a Taco John's location and request the Community Support Special to receive one beef or bean burrito and one Jr. Potato Olés®. The special is available 9 AM - 11 PM each day.

In addition, the Taco John's Foundation will donate to local food banks for every Taco Bravo® sold on Thursday, November 6.

Each year we collect items for the local food bank often making a challange with other schools and programs in time for Thanksgiving. We know our families are mentally stressed with the government shut down and the possibility that SNAP will not continue if there is no resolution. We have set a box in the entryway and collecting items that will be left out for our families who need some extra help with items this year.
