Free Verse lessons always start with a brief warm-up to get the creativity flowing. Sometimes it's a short writing game or challenge, other times it's a reflective writing prompt. βοΈππ

You really do get used to the stench, it starts to smell sweet if you're around it enough. Once you're past that point, it smells like excitement." π£
Thanks for sharing, Caroline! What do you all think? Terrible response, or terribly poetic π₯°π€©

"hope is the thing with feathers"
Love is a roller coaster, a scavenger hunt almost. You'll get hurt, disappointed, confused, but you're blind. Blind by love. Love is loss β€ and sorrow, and can β€ be broken. After this, β€ all you can rely on is time. Love is hard to find and hard to move on from.
I want my mind to follow my heart, even if it's not the right decision. I want my body to not argue with itself. My mind says it's wrong and my head Just loves. Although my heart doesn't have a brain.
