We've had so many new faces walk through our doors lately, and we are incredibly grateful that more and more neighbors are finding support, connection, and community here at The Bridge 🤗

With all of these new faces, we thought it might be a good time to share a little more about how we operate.

At its heart, The Bridge is more than a thrift store. It's a community hub built on the belief that life is meant to be lived together. Every gently loved item purchased from our shop not only gets a second chance at life but also helps support programs that directly serve our neighbors.

That support takes many forms. It looks like food security for families facing hard times. It looks like our Angels of the Bridge program, our Winter Coat Program, holiday meal box distributions, and our annual Back-to-School Supply Drive and so much more; It looks like neighbors stepping up for neighbors.

One of the first things you'll notice when you walk through our doors is our community pantry, refrigerator, and emergency cabinet. These resources operate on a simple principle of take what you need & leave what you can.

There are no applications to fill out. No paperwork. No proving your circumstances. No setting your dignity aside just to receive help. We believe that everyone deserves compassion, respect, and support.

If you find yourself needing food, household essentials, hygiene products, baby supplies, or other everyday necessities, we invite you to browse what we have available. Grab a bag from beside the fridge and take what would help you, your family, or even another neighbor who may be struggling.

Our pantry is available whenever you need it and as often as you need it. Life doesn't always follow schedules, guidelines, or convenient timing, and we understand that. If you're looking for something you don't see, please don't hesitate to ask us or send us a message. We will always do our best to help. No judgment or labels. Just neighbors helping neighbors.

As followers of Christ, we believe the love we've been given is meant to be shared. Our hope is that every person who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and loved. We hope this space reminds all of us that we are stronger when we come together, support one another, and choose compassion over criticism.

We are always accepting donations for our community pantry, refrigerator, and emergency cabinet. Food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, household essentials, baby food, formula, diapers, and similar items are all greatly appreciated and make a direct impact on local families.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to bring this mission to life. But even more than that, we're grateful for the opportunity to bring neighbors together, remind one another of our worth, and build a community where nobody has to face life's challenges alone.

With summer arriving in full force next week, we're already beginning to plan for our 2026-2027 Back-to-School Supply Drive!

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to provide brand new school supplies to 100 local children. This year, we're setting our sights even higher. With your help, we believe we can DOUBLE that number and ensure even more students head into the school year feeling confident, prepared, and supported.

Because we have a couple of months to prepare, we're hopeful we can reach this ambitious goal together. If you find yourself with the ability to donate new school supplies whether it's crayons, markers, glue sticks, notebooks, calculators, graph paper, backpacks, or other classroom essentials, we would be deeply grateful for your support.

This year, we'd also love to provide brand new school shoes for children in need, helping them start the school year with both the tools and confidence they deserve.

Donations can be dropped off at our little shop. Simply let us know your items are intended for our 2026-2027 Back-to-School Supply Drive.

Because we are passionate about making sure no child gets left behind, we'd also like to thank our donors in a small way. Anyone who donates brand new school supplies for the drive will receive a 20% off coupon to use on their next purchase in our shop.

We're not just collecting supplies. We're investing in our children, supporting local families, and building a stronger community one backpack at a time.

Donations can be dropped off ANYTIME during business hours at 2412 River Rd Suite B in the Legacy Center Building off of Reserve st & River Rd.

Hours as follows:
Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat 11am-5pm
Fri 11am-2pm (sometimes 4:00pm)

Small donations can be dropped in our outdoor pantry outside of business hours. We just ask that all donations be placed IN the black cabinet outside our door & not on the ground. Thank you so much for always coming together, neighbors! ❤
