National Walk and Bike to School Day is tomorrow, Oct. 5, 2022!

Our parents or grandparents had to walk for miles to school, uphill, in a blizzard (or in searing heat, or in pouring-down rain) both ways? While some of these stories might be slightly exaggerated (just barely), a little exercise each day to and from school is helpful for students.

Tomorrow we will be sharing how SDDOT team members are getting involved in promoting walking and biking to school, engaging with students to encourage exercise, and help make sure everyone gets to and from school safely!

Join us for some fun at the 2022 Todd County Fair! We've added a Horse Show on Friday morning and a Youth Mud Volleyball (14 and under) tournament Saturday morning.
