Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Dreamland Learning Center! 💙

This past Friday, we had the pleasure of celebrating some of our amazing Dreamland dads with a special Father’s Day breakfast. Families enjoyed coffee, breakfast tacos, juice, water, and most importantly, quality time with their little ones before starting their day.

Thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who play such an important role in the lives of our children. Your love, guidance, and support make a lasting difference every day.

We truly enjoyed spending the morning with our Dreamland families and wanted to share a few pictures from our celebration. We hope all of our dads have a wonderful and well-deserved Father’s Day weekend!

🌧️ WEATHER UPDATE FOR DREAMLAND FAMILIES 🌧️

The safety of our children, families, and staff is our top priority. Due to the potential for severe weather, heavy rainfall, and possible flooding overnight and into tomorrow, we will be closely monitoring conditions throughout the day, tonight, and early tomorrow morning.

At this time, Dreamland Learning Center remains open as scheduled. However, depending on weather and road conditions, delays or closures may become necessary.

Please stay tuned for updates through Brightwheel, our WhatsApp group, and our page. If flooding or unsafe driving conditions develop, we encourage everyone to stay home and prioritize safety.

🎨🖌️ DREAMLAND LEARNING CENTER PAINTING CONTEST! 🖼️✨ 🏆

Earlier this week, our Summer Campers had an amazing Arts & Crafts Day, and we wanted to make it even more exciting by turning their creativity into a friendly competition! 🎉

Each painting was completely created by our talented young artists, and to make it even more special, they each came up with their own unique title for their masterpiece! 🎨💭

Now it’s YOUR turn to help us choose a winner! ❤️

📢 CONTEST RULES:
👍 Like the picture of your favorite painting.
⚠️ Only likes on the actual picture of the portrait/painting will count toward the contest. Likes on photos of the child holding their artwork will NOT be counted.
🏆 The painting with the MOST LIKES on the portrait picture will be crowned our Dreamland Painting Contest Champion!

🎁 The winning artist will receive a $50 Gift Card!
🎁 The runner up will receive a surprise gift.

⏰ Voting ends Monday morning at 10:00 AM, and we will announce our winner shortly after!

⚽🌎 The wait is over! Tomorrow marks the kickoff of the FIFA World Cup 2026, hosted by Canada, the United States, and Mexico!

At Dreamland Learning Center, we’re excited to join in the celebration and show our World Cup spirit. We invite all of our Dreamland families and students to wear their favorite national team jersey, shirt, or colors and cheer on the country they’re rooting for!

Let’s come together, celebrate the beautiful game, and show off our World Cup pride. We can’t wait to see everyone representing teams from around the world!

🌳☀️ Friday Fun at Lions Park! ☀️🌳

What an incredible afternoon our Dreamland Learning Center After-Schoolers had at Lions Park! From playground adventures and nonstop laughter to spending quality time with friends, our kiddos made the most of every moment. 😊

After all the excitement and outdoor fun, everyone enjoyed a well-deserved pizza lunch that made the day even more special! 🍕❤️

Seeing our children stay active, build friendships, and create happy memories is what these experiences are all about. We are so proud of our amazing after-school group and the positive energy they bring wherever they go!

🌱🌻 Gardening Day Fun at Dreamland Learning Center! 🌻🌱

Our After-School Class had a wonderful time during Gardening Day on Wednesday as they explored the amazing world of plants and flowers! 🌿🌼

The students worked together to learn about the life cycle of a plant and discussed what a seed needs in order to grow. Using their creativity, they drew colorful posters and labeled the important things plants need, including sunlight ☀️, water 💧, soil 🌱, and air 🌬️. They also illustrated the different stages of a plant’s growth—from a tiny seed to a beautiful blooming flower! 🌸

This hands-on activity provided many educational benefits for our after-schoolers, including:

✅ Strengthening science and nature knowledge
✅ Encouraging teamwork and communication skills
✅ Building creativity through drawing and designing posters
✅ Improving writing, spelling, and vocabulary skills
✅ Developing critical thinking by understanding plant growth and life cycles
✅ Fostering responsibility and appreciation for nature

We are so proud of the effort, creativity, and teamwork our students displayed while completing their gardening projects. They did an amazing job showing what they’ve learned and had lots of fun along the way! 🌻💚
