Here are some TIPS to keep your color glowing & to prevent premature fading…
•
✨Wash with COOLER WATER. It doesn’t have to be ice cold, you just don’t want it hot & steamy 💨 And FINISH with a COLD rinse after conditioning, or before
•
✨Turn the HEAT on your hot tools DOWN!! Keep heat on your irons at or below 350. Once heat goes above 350, you get IMMEDIATE fading
•
✨Wash with your salon professional PRODUCTS. Just washing that “one time” with Pantene or Herbal Essences will affect your color, TRUST ME, I see it all the time. All it takes is “just once!”
•
✨Don’t shampoo every day!!! The sweet spot is 2x per week, or 1x every 5 days to a week, especially if you wear extensions
•
✨PLEASE use a heat protectant! Not only will it protect your hair from damage, but it also prevents color fade! My FAVE is SETSPRAY by (LINK in BIO to get yourself a bottle) It’s non-toxic, silicone free, refillable, comes in a sexy glass bottle, smells heavenly AND doubles down as a light hold hairspray
•
✨Lastly, TREAT your hair by repairing & preventing damage! My holy grail is , I use it in EVERY. SINGLE. COLOR. SERVICE. Remember, if your hair isn’t healthy, it won’t hold color as well & it just won’t look as pretty. K18 repairs even the MOST damaged hair & it’s super easy to use, my clients & I swear by it 💯 (LINK in my BIO for that one as well)
