This year at Summit, many of our advisors were featured on stage in our Hear From Your Peers panel discussions where advisors shared their experiences and best practices through moderated discussions on financial planning, succession and continuity planning, and how to get the most out of your partnership with AdvisorNet Financial. Just as good as the ideas on stage were the connections made after each session!

To keep the energy high during the start of our Day 2 of our Summit conference, advisors were treated to espressos and tasty lattes from the Minneapolis Coffee Cart. The lavender and honey cinnamon lattes may have been two of the most popular choices!

Our second day of Summit kicked off with breakfast in our parking lot with the Kabomelette food truck serving up custom omelets, potatoes, breakfast burritos, and french toast. Espressos and lattes were prepared by the Minneapolis Coffee Cart so everyone could get their caffeine fix. What a fun way to start the day!

This morning Matt Kansy, a health and wellness consultant with Symetra, brought his best ideas and tips for financial advisors to take care of themselves so they can best take care of their clients. Matt strives to help advisors achieve their health and wellness goals through nutrition, physical activity, sleep hygiene, and stress management strategies. Hearing Matt was a terrific way to kick off Day 2 of Summit!

Senior Vice President, Head of Advisory Solutions and Market Strategy at Raymond James Matt Orton, CFA brought his polish from his regular TV features and shared with attendees his insights into the markets and what is driving them so our advisors can bring those messages back to their clients.

Last week, AdvisorNet participated in and helped sponsor the Lanes for Lane fundraiser in Omaha, NE for a night of fun, food, and prizes. The Lane Thomas Foundation was established by a local family in the Omaha community in remembrance of their son in order to bring the light and hope he brought to the world to families of children undergoing organ transplants.
