5 years ago today my daughter and I were at the Women's March in Washington, DC. What we feared from the 2016 election outcome unfortunately came to pass. It's hard to witness what's happening in our country but I'm also buoyed by folks in my community and beyond who are working to improve lives and safeguard democracy. Onward!
