Hello all! Long time no post! I've been busy working on parsing out text for the next Ananse story (and wow is it a cute one!) And doing spot illustrations for a second client, while simultaneously working part time for the federal government (a pretty good gig I'll say!) Things are moving along, and I'm excited to share more pictures with all of you very soon.

So much work going on, but so much fun! Lots of good things happening over here at IDG! My client for the Ananse Project had overwhelming success with the kick starter, and I officially graduated MCAD! I've been keeping busy getting the materials together for Ananse (over 140 packs of stickers!), doing a batch of 120 pi day stickers for my neighbor for her math students, and I start a part time job at Target/Starbucks starting Sunday! Along with that, I have been commissioned by a client to produce a set of paintings, so I have a lot to juggle. Thank you all for your support in regards to the kickstarter, it's a dream come true for my client! We'll be on book shelves in May!

As Ananse gets finishing touches, and my client prepares for a book tour at our local schools while finalizing details with Beaver Pond Press, I'm putting together Salt and Pepper for print! Tiny sneak peak for you all :)

Finally finished with the Ananse project, next up is my own story, Salt and Pepper! This is one of my favorite pages so far. This book has a quick turn around, I'm pumping out between 6-8 pages a WEEK! It's certainly been an adventure so far. This one will have stuffed animals and some merchandising with it as it is my Senior Project for MCAD.

Lots of things going on lately with the Ananse project, I am back on track with page 17 being wrapped up, and the whole book will be done by the beginning of October, just in time for our kick starter to roll! Along with that I'm working on a story for Cornerstone Stories, and will be revising a story of my own for senior project. It will be a packed few months! Our publisher for Ananse has been helping my client prepare for the adventure of full scale publishing, hopefully you'll see Ananse and his friends in B&N!

My clients asked me to revise one of the pages due to it being a little scary (I agreed), so I switched it over to a more emotional page showing Pehteh for once showing shame, and his mother still loving him as she does always!

Hello all! I wanted to share a project I've been working on this last month, a full fledged children's book for a client. I'm finally starting the final pages after the long sketching process and I'm so excited to see this thing evolve! It'll be my second full book since my first 32 page book I did during my junior year of college. Stay tuned!
