Do you see why the shingles blew off? They weren't properly nailed. High nailing means every shingle gets half as many nails as it should have. This roof needs repair or replacement.

The top image shows a nasty roof/wall intersection, where water is directed right up against a wall. The lower image shows what this same area looks like in the crawlspace. This has been leaking for a long time. The walls need to be opened and inspected for concealed damage as part of the repair.

This is a fire hazard.
1. Screens aren't allowed at dryer terminals.
2. Even without the screen, this is not an approved dryer terminal.
3. Even if it were an approved dryer terminal, nobody ever gets on the roof to check on it and clean it.

Deck boards rot at the ends first. This happens because the end grain soaks up water and because cut edges are almost never properly treated with a preservative.
