Capsule :: an Experience Design Firm. Design is a way of thinking about an object, a conversation or Capsule has refused to adopt a descriptor since 1999.

We've worked indoors and outdoors. We've strategized for billion dollar industries and nonprofits. Conducted research for brands both big and small. We've given new faces to startups and facelifts to businesses over a century old. We've named everything from apples to office chairs. Rebranded schools and orchestras. Crafted experiences for grocery stores and Super Bowls. Our refusal to limit our w

Great design doesn’t just look good—it teaches, inspires, and sticks with you.

Part of Capsule’s work for Integrow, and its four sub-brands, was to reimagine a full ecosystem of physical touchpoints: from activity books and kit boxes packed with learning resources, to premium card decks and task cards built for hands-on engagement, all the way down to corporate stationery.

Every piece aligned with Integrow’s new brand positioning: making a real difference for educators, students, and staff alike.

Our latest case study features the rebrand of Minnesota Recovery Connection—the state’s first recovery community organization.

As MRC’s reach and impact expanded, we partnered with their team to bring greater clarity to how they show up through a refreshed visual identity and messaging system rooted in peer-to-peer support, public education, and advocacy. The work balances structure with humanity, creating a brand system designed to feel inviting, hopeful, and consistent across touch points.

Now live across a new website, updated collateral, and communications, the identity honors MRC’s roots while supporting what comes next.

At Capsule, education is a means to discovery and the lifeblood of our creativity. We find it in passing knowledge, connecting frameworks and serving as a supportive teacher or coach to others. But like creativity, our education is never complete, only continued. We learn best when we are exchanging ideas, in open-minded conversation, and questioning our assumptions.

This poster is inspired by “The Owl and the Nightingale,” an allegorical poem from the middle ages. The owl, a timeless symbol of wisdom, presides over two lively songbirds engaged in curious, friendly debate, inviting viewers to contemplate where wisdom and wonder meet. A deeply rooted tree anchors the scene with its canopy, branching pathways of knowledge that flow between experience and inquiry alike.

Flexibility empowers creative freedom. It allows us to shift perspectives, adapt approaches and respond fluidly to change. If we aren’t flexible, we aren’t learning. And if we aren’t learning, our intuition and agility suffers.

Embracing uncertainty—to move with changing winds rather than against them—is key to solving creative problems. For Capsule, enabling flexible processes means being at peace with – and even embracing – the unexpected, thereby cultivating more freedom and stability in all our endeavors.

This poster draws inspiration from the yogi. As an emblem of both physical and mental flexibility, it illustrates how a mindful openness to change helps us thrive in a constantly shifting world.
