Matt is a therapist for people who are ready to stop pretending everything is fine.

He works with **couples, families, teens, kids, and individuals** navigating relationship conflict, communication, intimacy, infidelity, trauma, ADHD, autism, behavioral challenges, and the general weirdness of being human.

As a **neurodivergent therapist**, Matt brings both personal understanding and clinical experience to working with ADHD and autistic clients. He also specializes in **trauma therapy** and works with men in their 20s and 30s navigating purpose, identity, relationships, and emotional health.

His style is **casual, conversational, and intentional**, drawing from **Internal Family Systems (IFS)** and **somatic approaches** to help clients understand patterns, reconnect with themselves, and create meaningful change.

You don't need to have it all figured out before starting therapy. You just need to be willing to get curious about what's happening.

A good therapeutic fit should feel like a skipping rock with a notch for your finger—something that fits naturally and gives you something solid to work with.

**Matt is accepting new clients** and accepts most insurance plans, excluding Optum, Medica, UHC, and S...

**Compassion Collective Joins My Very Own Bed**

Take steps so local children can get restful sleep each night! Moving into a new home is a huge milestone, but many families transition into stable housing with no beds. A bed provides a child with the rest, comfort, and emotional stability they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

That’s why we’re inviting our community to join us in supporting Steps for Sleep on Saturday, September 26, from 3:00–5:30pm.

Your participation directly funds new beds and Dream Kits for local kids through My Very Own Bed. Whether you walk in person or contribute online, your support creates an immediate, tangible difference.

You can support our team in our bio or here.

🌿 **Meet Carolynn — Virtual Therapy Now Available**

Trying to navigate life can feel a bit like running a marathon without a training plan — exhausting, confusing, and overwhelming at times.

Hi, I'm Carolynn, a therapist with almost a decade of experience in community, school, and hospital settings. I currently work with adult clients and would be honored to walk alongside you on your therapy journey.

I know that not every person is one-size-fits-all, and I believe in meeting clients exactly where they are. My approach blends creativity with evidence-based models like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strengths-based methods, nature therapy, and elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Together, we'll explore how your symptoms show up in the mind, body, and spirit, creating space for growth and healing. I specialize in supporting clients through anxiety, panic, depression, life transitions, stressors, and neurodivergence. My goal is to help you discover resilience, balance, and meaningful change — with a little outside-the-box thinking along the way.

Carolynn is dedicated to accessibility and takes all insurances. Sessions are virtual — connect from wherever you are. 💛

Meet Maria Hartwell, MSW, LGSW

For 20+ years, Maria has walked alongside adolescents and young adults (ages 14–25) — and adults working through childhood trauma, shame, or life after incarceration — with compassion, curiosity, and zero judgment. Her work centers Indigenous, Black, Latino, LGBTQ+, immigrant, unhoused, and system-impacted folks, honoring that healing looks different for everyone.

Maria blends psychodynamic, trauma-informed, DBT, CBT, and harm reduction approaches to support anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, family conflict, and more. She's now seeing clients in person.

Her philosophy, in her own words: "You do not need to be fixed. You are not broken." Let's compare tattoos, talk comfort food, and feel better together. 💛

🎉 **Celebrating One Year with Anne Wild, MSW, LGSW!**

This month we're celebrating a full year of Anne being part of the Compassion Collective family — and we couldn't be more grateful to have them on our team. Anne is incredibly helpful and insightful, and we treasure having them as part of our community.

Anne believes humans are more than our brains, more than our bodies, more than our emotions or spirituality — we're complex, dynamic beings, and they show up for their clients' whole selves. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, or the everyday weight of life's changes and stressors, Anne creates a space where you can feel truly heard and cared for.

With a strong therapeutic relationship as the foundation, Anne blends evidence-based approaches like Motivational Interviewing and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with nature and play therapy — they're even known to take sessions on a walk when that's accessible for clients.

Anne brings a background in community mental health, working with adults navigating Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, and is proud to offer an affirming space for q***r & trans folks, the kink community, s*x workers, people with non-normative relationship structures, and folks practicing harm reduction.

Here's to another year of showing up for our community, Anne! 💛

We accept just about every insurance and offer sliding scale options, because we believe support shouldn't be out of reach. We are dedicated to accessible care for anyone who walks through our doors.

Know someone who could use a hand — or just want more info? We offer a free 15-minute phone call, no strings attached. We're big believers in collaboration and community, and we'd love to connect. 💛

# # # Meet Alee 🤍

**Alee Reinholdson, MA | Children, Adolescents, Adults & Families**

With more than a decade in the field, Alee brings experience, warmth, and a deeply compassionate approach to the work of therapy. She believes that people deserve to feel **seen, heard, and respected for who they are and where they come from.**

Alee works with children, teens, adults, and families, meeting each person where they are while helping them build the tools and confidence to move toward where they want to be. Her work is **culturally responsive, collaborative, and trauma-informed**, drawing from CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.

Whether someone is working through a difficult season, navigating relationships and family dynamics, or simply trying to understand themselves a little better, Alee creates space for honest exploration without judgment.

Her goal isn't to tell clients who they should be or what they should do. It's to help them better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and feel empowered to make meaningful changes that actually fit their lives.

✨ **We’re grateful to have Alee as part of Compassion Collective.**

# # # Meet Lydia 🌿

**Lydia Anderson, MSW, LGSW | Ages 10+**

Growing up can be complicated. Between figuring out who you are, navigating friendships and family relationships, managing school, and living in a world shaped by social media, it can sometimes feel like there’s a lot to carry.

Lydia works with young people who are finding their way through all of it. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that young people deserve to feel **heard, understood, and genuinely safe to be themselves.**

She draws from **Somatic Experiencing, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Developmental Repair** to help clients understand what’s happening beneath the surface, reconnect with themselves, and move through difficult experiences at their own pace.

Most importantly, Lydia creates a space where young people don't have to have everything figured out. They can show up exactly as they are, feel supported without judgment, and take an active role in their own healing.

✨ **We’re so glad Lydia is part of Compassion Collective.**
