TONIGHT is our Juneteenth Celebration—and you’re not going to want to miss it. Melody Betts sings Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin and more. Plus, Brian Raphael Nabors’ stunning Hammond Organ Concerto and so much more led by Kedrick Armstrong on a special program that honors the resilience, creativity and vibrant legacy of Black artistry.

Composer-soloist Brian Raphael Nabors is here to perform his Concerto for Hammond Organ as part of our Juneteenth Celebration led by Kedrick Armstrong—here’s what he said about the work:
“In the history of American music, the Hammond organ has seamlessly crossed genres and broken barriers. From the spiritual silos of the Black church, to the smooth and vivacious world of Jazz, to the hardy soulfulness of Rock; the Hammond has been there. This concerto is my love letter to all that has made me the artist I am. It is a love letter to the beauty, pain, and struggle that American music was born from.”
