It's such an honor getting the chance to photograph Ma Aye Chan May, a legendary Burmese singer from my mom's generation.
I was just a little kid when she was at her peak, so I didn't really know her music back then. But growing up, I'd always hear my mom and the older generation playing her songs and sharing stories about her…that's how I learned what a legend she truly is.

And Khin Su Su Naing! I was totally her fan when she won that title in the Melody World singing competition and started releasing her own songs. High school me was obsessed with her music. Never thought I'd actually meet her or get to take her pictures. Like, how crazy is that?
