A few photos from the cabin retreat.

As of right now, I am not done with cosplay, just a pause. I've been exploring other creative endeavors as energy allows (which still figuring out day by day, but it has improved even compared to myself last year), so enjoy my random adventures for now!
At the beginning of this year, I joined a small artist group for an ABC challenge. Some are posted over on my page, and maybe I'll do a few of these over there, too. Going into 2025, I wanted to use the time to explore different mediums I don't normally work with (primarily a digital and paper layering) so during an art retreat this past weekend, I worked with watercolor and played with different brushes. While I have dabbled and one watercolor autumn landscape tutorial a few months ago, that was a follow and paint type of thing - but realized it had been since college since I had touched. I have done digital watercoloring as well as watercolor pencil, but to pick up tube and brush brought a lot of nostalgia back. So it was neat to explore.
I've always admired watercolor, and while it might not be my strongest medium, I am happy I decided to try it again after so many years.

Went to Twin Cities Pride this last weekend with Genelle and Eva! 🌈 Originally planned to go to the parade as well, but gladly helped out our friend Claire Doolittle Illustration with borrowing a tent to them and reorganize their stuff after the huge storm saturday night, Minnesota ooof...otherwise we listened to music, watch some impromptu crowd dancing and ate food while walking around looking at the different artists and booths.

Was able to attend Art-A-Whirl this past weekend with friends! It's so inspiring to view different mediums and artists, and the insights into their studios itself always makes me want to jump into different projects cause of the environment ✨️

Our campaign of 2 1/2 years came to an end today. So many memories, stories of chaos and stories from many more years to come. Thank you SirTa for DMing and so happy hanging out with Faye, Eva, Genelle, Jillian, Ash, and Emory.

My character, Charlie, was a dustwalker sorcerer of Pharasma who was Vice President of the Undead Investigation Club at their university before having to flee. So I made a flyer for recruitment.

I was able to dress up for 2 hours only, but that's a success in my book. Taking small steps back towards ways I want to live my life.

Had a great time at Twin Cities Pride eating food and exploring all the vendors (couldn't get too close to the stage due to sensory processing) but music in the background was awesome! Spent some quality time with and .marie 🥰

I will still be on and off social media, interested in following all of your journeys when I'm able to! Life is pretty difficult right now due to some medical complications. Not the end, just a pause, hopefully.
I hope to have an answer in the future, but they don't know yet, but continuing tests and my case was referred to the Mayo Clinic. So day by day, step by step.

It was an honor to meet all those who came out to Anime Milwaukee and wonderful faces prejudging and behind the scenes. A huge shout out to the staff and volunteers - over 17,000 attendees!? Thats not possible without people like you. There was so much excitement and genuine love for cosplay at this con. It brought out a lot of nostalgia for me as to why this community is continuing to grow over the years and why "play" and embodiment of the characters we love is so important. On top of our own twists to these characters, that passion doesn't change - but connects us to other fans! It was a long weekend, but never wanted it to end! Can we go back please?!

It was a privilege to judge the Cosplay Masquerade along side Wig-Wig Cosplay and Lisa J. and have the opportunity to get up and close to explore all the amazing details and skillsets each competitor brought to this year! Amazing and inspiring!

Congratulations to all the contestants - the performances, Craftsmanship - what a treat and was in awe to see all of the amazing details up close during prejudging. Serious amazing talent here at Anime Milwaukee and it was an honor. Thank you for having me!
