We all know the legend of Merlin the Wizard. But here's a little secret: our name, Merlins Rest, was never really about just one Merlin. It's about the many Merlins who come here to rest.

This Halloween, we're finally giving the wizard his moment.
Introducing our newest costume category: BEST DRESSED MERLIN

The winner gets a little magic for their WHOLE year:
✨ $6.50 to spend every week for 52 weeks, on anything you want - that's at least a pint a week for 52 weeks, if you choose
✨ Your name and photo on a plaque right here in the pub, forever

Join us for an intimate evening with James Wills of Kilchoman Distillery, the independent farm distillery on the Isle of Islay. James and his brother Peter run Kilchoman's worldwide sales and marketing, so you'll be hearing the story straight from the family.
Want to geek out on the finest details of barley, peat and stills? Go for it. Curious about the two distillery cats who delight in tormenting the owner? Also fair game! The conversation is open and informal, and no question is too big, or too small
