The sixth principle – Kuumba – is the perfect example of this because it celebrates creativity. “Creativity means to perform acts that leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it.”–

Vaccination Event TUESDAY (4-4-2023), 4 PM-7 PM, at Hosmer Library on the lower level. Shots are available for ages 6mths+ parental consent is required for those under 18. 1st, 2nd, & Booster shots (including updated Omicron variants) are available & $50 incentives.

The Cultural Wellness Center & Pohlad Family Foundation are launching an Initiative (2023 Black Legacy & Leadership Enrichment Initiative) to Recognize and Support Black Community Members who are Advocates, Activists, Leaders, Healers, Artists, and Agents of Change.
Each initiate/recipient (7 people) will receive $55,000 in unrestricted funds for one year, and can be used to refresh and recover.
⏳️Submissions close at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on January 30, 2023.
