Now that Eavesdrop has opened its doors for a couple months, I’m proud to announce my official residency at this beautiful space. I get to play here in a way I simply cannot play a where else. I chose Thursday’s specifically because I wanted to stretch out in the evening, a little earlier, a little more geared towards listening over a drink. It just clicked. Come join me and have a listen.

Saturday I’ll be in Grand Rapids with my oldest and closest musical companion Just Alexander, whom I bought my first records with almost two decades ago. It’s been years since we’ve played together and we’ll be feeling loose and ready for a good old fashioned west Michigan party like the old days. Great weekend ahead.

Dominican Republic was special. It really reminded me why any of us started sharing, collecting, sharing, and learning music. Always go hang with locals. Always ask where there is new original ideas being risked out in the open. Thanks for teaching me so much DR.
