We'll be welcoming BAKIBAKIBAKI for an all-ages puppet performance and zine workshop, plus music from DJ Ariesfirebomb to keep the good vibes flowing throughout the market.🙌

Thanks to funding from the City of Minneapolis’ Business District Support Grant, we’re proud to launch the Joyful Grounds Cultural Series at Midtown Farmers Market! This series supports and compensates cultural stewards, BIPOC artists, musicians, and chefs who share their culture, talents and creativity with our community.💚

Our produce vendors will be bringing an abundance of fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, alongside all your market favorites, from crepes and eggrolls to baked goods and more.🥕🍰🍅

Whether you're stocking up for the week or celebrating Father's Day weekend, there's plenty to discover at Midtown.

Join us on June 20th for an all-ages morning of storytelling, creativity, and hands-on making!

At 10am, BakiBakiBaki will perform a puppet show featuring Mother Earth, a wooden marionette that dances and shares stories from the past and present, carrying the message: Black is Beautiful.

At 11am, stick around for an all-day zine workshop!!

Don’t know what zines are? All good! A zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a small, self-made publication. It can be about anything!! Art, writing, photos, sharing important resources, stories and so much more. It’s created and photocopied by hand as a way to share voices and creativity outside of traditional publishing. We will have all the necessary materials, just bring yourself and your creativity!

Join us for FREE Kids Yoga at Midtown Farmers Market on June 13 from 10AM–11AM!

Kids will explore movement, breath work, and play through a fun, beginner-friendly yoga class designed to get them moving and having fun. Bring your own mat if you have one!

After class, stick around to enjoy the market, grab a snack, and explore all the amazing local vendors and activities happening throughout the day 🌽💛
