The June 2026 (NINTH event of FY 26) challenge is...
Ruck 6.0 miles in honor of D-Day. You can break this one up as needed.

Updates for 2026 Challenge:
1. SOLO category added this year!
2. The TEAM category is still the cornerstone and what it's all about. TEAM members will earn the ability to get a second unique patch if they complete all 12 months with at least one other TEAM member. ONLY the person who completes all 12 months will be eligible (I am tracking things...). If you're team dissolves, let me know and I flip you to the SOLO category.
3. Tracker info will need to be sent in. Take a screen cap etc. There are lots of free apps out there that you can use. Remember to send in your team name, the names of your teammates, distance, date completed, and ruck weight (approx is fine). Pictures are also appreciated and will be evaluated and then posted on FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, and the website. Submit your completion info to [email protected] and check out the official website (resolutedefender.com).
4. You may complete challenges on a treadmill or by walking around in circles inside. The goal though is to only do this when absolutely necessary. Tackle the elements and push yourself!
5. Monthly challenges may be broken up as directed (pay attention to the announcement).
World War II: D-Day, The Invasion of Normandy | Eisenhower Presidential Library The D-Day operation of June 6, 1944, brought together the land, air, and sea forces of the allied armies in what became known as the largest amphibious invasion in military history. The operation, given the codename OVERLORD, delivered five naval assault divisions to the beaches of Normandy, France....

Saw the rucking spirit animal out and about in the neighborhood last week.
I did stop to render assistance…which was NOT appreciated.

Had a last-minute opportunity pop up this past week here in NC to go for my first SILVER Norwegian Foot March Badge. Sadly, I missed it by 9 minutes. Knocking out 18.6 miles with a 30lb pack (need to trim this down) and only 3 days advanced notice was a great test though.
NEXT TIME!

I earned my BRONZE back in 2024 and my ultimate goal is to earn the GOLD before I'm 50... It takes multiple successful completions spread out over at least 5 years to get it.

The MAY 2026 (EIGHTH event of FY 26) challenge is...
Ruck 6.2 miles in honor of National Police Week (established in 1962). You can break this one up as needed, but try to knock some of it out during the week of 10-16 May.

The Wolf Pack was out in force back in February! They had teams in MN, TX, and IL with some members doing the challenge multiple times.
Outstanding job!

Maj Tyler Freeman crushed the March challenge multiple times over back on the 27th. He completed 26.2 miles as part of a collective remote effort to honor those who were in the original 1942 Bataan Death March.
