Last night, on the evening before the MN primaries we rallied outside Amy Klobuchar’s Office to demand she and all candidates running for governor sign on to our demands to make Minnesota a Sanctuary State and end collaboration with ICE once and for all!
Amy Klobuchar has continued to ignore the immigrant rights movement and we are not going to stop fighting!
Sanctuary State Now!
Stop the deportations!

URGENT CALL TO ACTION! Tell the city council members to vote NO to the NIBIN GRANT.
STAND UP FOR OUR IMMIGRANT NEIGHBORS!
If you don’t want to call, email instead! (sample email below 👇)

Sample email:
Dear council member _____,
My name is ____ and I’m a resident of your ward. I’m writing to demand that you vote NO on the NIBIN grant from the Department of Justice at the council meeting this Thursday.
Minneapolis residents have made it clear that we don’t want our city to cooperate with ICE. The city passed the new Separation Ordinance to protect immigrant residents by ensuring that Minneapolis will not cooperate with the federal government on immigration enforcement.
The NIBIN grant violates the Separation Ordinance by defining the sole act of being unlawfully present as a crime that grant must be used to enforce. This grant is dangerous and will cause harm to immigrants in Minneapolis. You must vote no.
