A Minneapolis-based creative agency connecting businesses to their community through branding, design services, collaborations, brand experiences & community events. It's a place to create, connect + collaborate with others who share the yearning for learning + creating. LAB Headquarters is located on the North end of Loring Park, across from The Basilica. Take the elevator from the historic alleyway up to 3R - we are on the top floor. We want to support the art of crafting by providing a fun atmosphere for you to learn and create while socializing with others, and leave feeling completely inspired. Founders: Jessica Moriarty and Mollie Windmiller are the co-founders of LAB. Together, they offer the perfect combination of passion and skills to curate LAB MPLS. Mollie, president of Windmiller Design Group, has an unrivaled eye for design and branding. Jessica is the owner of Prime and Polish, the home décor boutique in Minneapolis. Mix Jessica’s knowledge of DIY projects, interior design and home décor with Mollie’s design expertise and enthusiasm, and we’ve got a duo that’s ready to conduct labs for all things creative!

Ahead of this fall’s LAB Talk, swipe for a peek inside the Twin Cities’ creatives shaping our homes and closets: interior designer ANNE MCDONALD DESIGN and fashion designer Michelle LeBlanc of Mille.
Anne’s interiors and MILLE’s designs already share a design language, effortlessly balancing femininity and strength through soft textures, clean lines, and a palette of pinks that somehow still feels neutral. What began as a chance meeting at MILLE grew into a creative partnership that evolved into a shared office space and two interior design projects together, including MILLE’s headquarters and Michelle’s own family home.

What do interiors and fashion have in common? Both are designed for the parts of ourselves we hold closest. At this fall’s LAB Talk, we’ll explore this relationship with two local designers who know it best: ANNE MCDONALD DESIGN and Michelle LeBlanc of Mille.
Interior designer Anne McDonald and fashion designer Michelle LeBlanc met years ago when Anne popped into MILLE. A fast friendship followed, and the two not only shared an office space, but Anne also designed MILLE’s new headquarters, flagship retail space at Galleria Edina, and Michelle’s family home.
Moderated by Emma Geary, this LAB Talk will explore the relationship between interiors, fashion, and the distinct sense of place that is created when two multi-hyphenate creatives unite, building a community that stretches far beyond their craft.
