Giving Voice Initiative
Music changes lives.
We are an award winning nonprofit promoting choruses created to empower people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia through choral singing, in the Twin Cities & around the world.

We had so much fun at our first summer sing-along at the Minnesota JCC Capp Center yesterday! Over 30 singers came together to sing favorites like "The Sound of Music," "Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head," and "You Made Me Love You."
Our next sing-along is on Tuesday, June 30 at 1 PM at The House of Hope Presbyterian Church (through a partnership with Hope Arts Center). Come out and have fun with us!

A huge thank-you to everyone who made our 2nd annual fundraising luncheon a smashing success! Donations are still rolling in, and we're so close to meeting our goal!
We're moved by your generosity and so excited to continue to Imagine What's Possible together!
Special thanks to a small and mighty group of Giving Voice Chorus singers for sharing their voices and presence to make the afternoon so meaningful and uplifting.

Volunteers in our Twin Cities Choruses get so much out of the experience. In their own words:
"The rehearsals are an exhilarating experience every week, and the spirit of community we have is heartwarming."
"You have given us permission to 'go for it!' That is so freeing, to just sing with little to no judgment on yourself."
Thank you to all our volunteers for bringing your unique selves and making our choruses such a joyful, uplifting experience for everyone. ❤️🎶❤️

There’s a moment before each Giving Voice Chorus concert that is truly special but easy to overlook.
It’s the moment that each singer in the choir sees one of their friends, family members, or other loved ones in the audience. And because it’s a warm and open environment they greet each other, on stage or off.
💜 Any other favorite moments out there?

Another Spring Concert in the books! Congratulations Crosstown Giving Voice Chorus. And this photo happens to feature Elaine Lofquist and Janet Joslyn, both of whom have been the closing speakers at the Giving Voice Conference where they were gracious enough to share their unique story.
