I love all my sessions, I do! But I loved this one especially because I got to capture this brand new little love whom I've been waiting so long to meet. Welcome, little Clarke - I'm so happy you're here! 🥰

There was a time when something big would happen in Minneapolis and I'd be there with a camera. I'm sure I'll still find myself in that situation in the future. This was not one of those situations. The murder of shook the Twin Cities, and the whole world. And instead of grabbing a camera, I decided my hands would be of better use on my phone helping to coordinate relief efforts, collecting and distributing money to organizations, delivering water to volunteers, and protesting. But some other wonderful lady photographers did some amazing documentary work and you can check that out here:
