Some of the Minneapolis area organizations that have committed to the Art Leadership Program include BMW of Minnetonka, TractorWorks Building, partners4design, Neuger Communications Group and Open Systems Technologies (OST). Always focused on his local surroundings, Welton has developed a series of paintings reflecting his love of inner-city architectural icons. He was recently awarded a Minnesota Artist Initiative Grant and painted vintage signage from all Minnesota regions and wrote of their significance to each community.
