Repost of a nice compact build from — original post: First time testing my EVF with my bmpcc6k pro. Why would you use an EVF with the bmpcc6k pro, considering it has a flip up screen? 1. It gives you a third point of contact when using the camera. 2. Though the bmpcc6k pro screen is 1500 nits, the EVF would help in very bright colors conditions and save on battery. 3. It does add a bit more weight to help with micro jitters.
