Join us on the longest day of the year for Q.arma Building’s Open Studios!
Spend the afternoon exploring artist studios, meeting makers, and experiencing the creative energy of the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. After the studios close, stay for our Summer Table gathering in Q.arma’s courtyard—a casual potluck dinner to celebrate community, creativity, and the season.Bring a dish, snack, dessert, or simply yourself.

On the second floor, is showcasing works by her late husband, Daniel Kaniess. His paintings move between abstraction and representation, layering color, text, line, and shape into deeply expressive compositions.

Head to Studio 245 to get your photo taken by ! Strike a fun pose and take home a memory from Art-A-Whirl 📸

Check out ’s art in Studio B25 this weekend! Day 3 of Art-A-Whirl runs from 12–5pm, so there’s still plenty of time to explore art, music, and creativity throughout our building.

Before Art-A-Whirl ends, whirl to the .clay.collective studio and outdoor booth to shop beautiful ceramic pieces and handwoven kitchen towels by Kori Parish of Wonderful Things Fire.

is back with ceramic pieces ranging from cups, vases, and large bowls to playful sculptural works, all made to bring joy into your life. Her recent larger pieces, especially the bowls, became a creative outlet for processing what was happening in our city. Earthy tones, deep colors, and expressive forms make the work feel alive.
