Hosted by Trust for Public Land, this gathering brings together advocates, educators, and community leaders to explore how vibrant, green schoolyards can foster learning, health, and climate resilience. Sandy is excited to share insights from Mend’s work on the FAIR Schoolyard in Crystal this summer and looks forward to learning from other inspiring designers and advocates at the summit! 💚

Mend Explores Travis County!

Our team at Mend Collaborative wrapped up an incredible week exploring the parks of Travis County! From hiking scenic trails to assessing park conditions, we immersed ourselves in these beautiful spaces as we continue work on the Travis County Parks Comprehensive Plan.

A huge thank you to the dedicated park staff who welcomed us, shared insights, and showed such passion for these natural treasures. Your care and commitment inspire us!

We're excited to be kicking off a Park and Recreation System Plan with the City of West St. Paul, along with our project partners LOCi and Matrix!

The plan will seek to maximize the ways that the city's park system provides connections to the community, will provide innovative new programming and updated equipment, will increase access and programming that matches the needs of the community, and will celebrate West St. Paul's natural environment! More information on engagement, including an interactive map and survey, will be coming soon!

Last week Mend was a sponsor for the Austin Youth River Watch's annual fundraising event, Take Me to the River.

We are proud to support organizations that do meaningful work in the community. Not only does AYRW provide environmental education programming for young adults but they provide wrap-around services to keep youth engaged. They pay a stipend, transport, and feed students involved in the after-school programming, and over spring break offer an adventure trip.

We met up for our annual spring partners meeting in Austin a couple of weeks ago!

We had a great time talking about our practice and projects, conducting site visits for new projects, volunteering at , spending time with old friends and colleagues, and, of course, taking some new band pictures 😀

We had an amazing time connecting with each other and all of our friends! Thanks for the good times !
