NETZRO is a proud founding member of the Upcycled Food Association, whose impact for 2022 included preventing a projected 991,681,940 pounds of food from waste - the carbon equivalent of taking 242,000 cars off the road. Rescuing spent grain to fight climate change through collaboration. - NETZRO, SBC A Minnesota-based company called NETZRO sources the flour for Avalon, which they use to make the final product, the crackers. So far, Avalon gets flour every few months based on demand.

Food and beverage manufacturers face growing regulatory and social pressure to divert their byproducts responsibly. In addition, they face increasing costs for disposal that affect their bottom line.

We work with our partner breweries and distilleries to sustainably source and verify their supply chain to ensure the best grains live up to their full potential.

Upcycling food prevents greenhouse gas emissions, eliminates food waste, and saves resources by not growing another crop.
