Our first trip to the Boundary Waters! A huge thank you to for making this trip possible and for for outfitting us with gear!
We had a great time canoeing, camping, making delicious Asian food for dinners, and having time to delve into our q***r, AAPI identities.
This trip wouldn’t have happened without the grant from and we are so grateful for this opportunity! Check them out to learn more about their mission and the phenomenal work they do!

TW: eating disorders, sizeism, fat shaming
While eating disorder awareness week was two weeks ago, it is never too late to share about the negative affects of body image too many APIDA people face.
We asked members of our community to share experiences they’ve had with body image / fat shaming / comments about appearance from family, friends, or even ideas that they have internalized based on APIDA culture/media.
One of our favorite therapists talking about this issue is , give them a follow and Pease share and amplify any resources you have in the comments!

Dear Friends,
In conjunction with the ground vigils for Christian Hall, we will be holding space online for the memory of Christian Hall--a Chinese American Transracial Adoptee who’s life was taken too early shot with his hands up by police--to help shine light on his case, unfair police practices that adversely affect men of color,
xenophobia and Asian American hate, and Adoptee mental health and su***de.
Please join us on December 30th from 7-9 PM CST where information about the shooting and the case will be presented along with special audio from Christian's parents Fe and Gareth Hall, and recorded audio from Christian Hall reading a passage from the Bible.
Speakers at the vigil include Kev Minh Allen (Adoptee), Lynelle Long (Adoptee), Lac Su, Kayla Zheng (Adoptee), Anthea Yur, and Lee Herrick (Adoptee).
Organizations in support of Justice for Christian Hall standing together at the vigil include Adopted Vietnamese International (AVI) Facebook Group, Adoptee Hub, Also-Known-As, Asian Media Access, InterCountry Adoptee Voices (ICAV), Kokoro Project, VAN | Vietnamese Adoptee Network, Vietnamese Resource Center
The online vigil will be on Clubhouse which is available on Apple and Android Phones. The link to the room for the vigil is: https://www.clubhouse.com/event/xV01Wvyz
While this time is tough during the holidays and new year, we hope that you can spread the word and support the vigil. As you can listen on your phone, it can hopefully help make attending the online vigil easier during these times.
Please share this post (it is public) to your friends, family, and groups you belong to in support of Justice For Christian Hall.
