We are a historic home museum and ranch property, public park, and more. The tour lasts about one hour and costs $10/person for 17 and older.

The Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park preserves eight historic structures built between 1857 and 1917, along with a collection of artifacts dating back to 1809. The buildings and the collection help tell the story of the four generations of the Dangberg ranching family. Big thanks goes out to Minden Elementary School for inviting "Charley Parkhurst: Stagecoach Driver" to stop by their 4th Grade classes and tell some hair-raising stagecoach stories of the Sierra. "Chautauqua in the Classroom" is part of Dangberg Historic Park's Educational Outreach Program. Later this month on June 30th, we will offer our Young Chautauqua Camp with instructor Mary Bennett of the Brüka Theatre in Reno. Check out dangberg.org for more information on this and all of our events.

We'd like to thank the John C. Fremont Chapter, NSDAR for holding their Annual Tea at the park on May 30th. "Maggie Ferris Dangberg" was honored to show off her home and to also be "sent off to Berkeley" by the group. We truly appreciate all you do to help support Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park. ~photo by Cora Johnson
