Christmas came early for a student at Bay View High School...

Yahir really enjoyed MPS's Adaptive bike day this fall at Lakeshore State Park. The stars aligned as the Wisconsin Bike Federation had just received a donation of an adaptive bike from a resident who wanted someone to be able to enjoy the bike just as much as they did. With MPS's department of Wellness and Prevention and the Wisconsin Bike Federation coordinating together, Yahir was able to be surprised with the bicycle at Milwaukee's Bay View High School. Yahir's brother and dad were able to be present when he received the bike. The expression on his face says it all!

Hey Nice List! If you have a friend or family member who DOES NOT PAY AND REGISTER please talk with them directly. Ask them to pay and pre register next year. If this many rogue Naughty listers continue to do the ride we risk having to cancel it due to logistical and fiscal constraints for keeping it safe and legal with the city and the police. Wisconsin Bike Fed is a NON PROFIT organization and this is a fundraiser for us, but if costs exceed the income we can not continue to host the ride.

We know there are always things we can do to make the experience better, safer, and more efficient.
