Benjamin Bardot, Painter-Poet. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Abstracting the intersections of art, technology, and human emotion. Toilevide.net
Currently focused on contemporizing Milwaukee maritime history with abstract seascapes. Benjamin Bardot is a Milwaukee-based painter and poet. Through Toile Vide, he presents a deeply personal chronicle of his journey from the depths of addiction to the path of recovery. His work explores the complexities of life, love, and transformation through abstract art and poetry. Currently, he is focused on a series of abstracts of Milwaukee's maritime history, a theme deeply grounded in his family’s Jones Island heritage. He seeks to contemporize these narratives, exploring the intersection of art, technology, and raw human emotion. This page is a living archive of a 15-year creative journey. Join him in exploring the stories we tell to survive and to heal. Website: toilevide.net

Trying to get back in the groove and remember how to draw again. It has been so long... Ever since I was a little kid, I have only written about being three things: an artist, an entrepreneur, and a writer. I am determined to fulfill my destiny. I am done distracting myself. It is time to work.
