In the City and Out of the Ordinary Kane Commons is Milwaukee's only green urban courtyard condominium community. It consist of twelve units.

Seven single family condos, two are rental apartments and three units make up one triplex. Green features include live roofs, geothermal heating and cooling, and many more. Long-Vacant Riverfront Lot to be Developed 08/26/2024

The riverfront lot at 1120 E. Kane Place has been vacant for decades. A luxury 3-family apartment is to be built there, it will include docks for owners' boats. Work is underway on that feature.

Our new Firebird Crabapple has been planted in the garden by Michael Horne. This took a bit of excavation and soil drainage work. It will be a welcome addition to the commons.
