Rather than making memes from this year's Super Bowl, I reflected on what it means to be a marketer in unprecedented times that never seem to end (and dug into what I liked and didn't like).

🖤 BLACK OUT 🖤 Finding ways to be creative in these challenging times is so important, but it can absolutely be difficult to *be* creative when your brain is being inundated with the terrors we’ve all been dealing with lately.

I sat down with the intention of creating, and this is what called to me. I know there are plenty of similar messages from brands out there, and it’s probably hard to choose which ones to spend your hard earned cash on.

The answer is any of them that are truly supporting an organization that resonates with you. This particular round of merch will be benefiting ’s mission of defending the rights of all people nationwide, with an emphasis on abolishing ICE.

I put black on black options together so you can truly wear these with ANYTHING. You can even wear the shirt and adorn it with colorful anti-ICE pins to really get the point across. Being anti-fascist never looked so good because 100% of the proceeds from these items will be donated to ACLU WI.

There’s a protest tonight in Milwaukee, and there’s a nationwide blackout on Friday. Let’s do this.

Hey it’s me! It’s been awhile since I posted my face on the gram, so figured it was about time again. I’m Hillary and I run !

This is the marketing/social media/graphic design branch of my larger brand , which houses all of my brands and projects including & .cult.

I’m 100% self employed, primarily via my Pitch Ritual clients, and so grateful for all of the amazing people I’ve had the chance to work with over the past (almost) year of doing this.

Before this I worked for Pabst Theater Group doing social media and marketing for their 6 venues in Milwaukee, FPC Live in Madison with a primary focus on Majestic Theatre, Live on King Street, Freakfest, and a few Frequency (RIP) & High Noon Saloon shows here and there, EatStreet (a Madison based tech startup) as their events & culture contact, & LUSH Cosmetics as a sales & social media manager…so you really can say that I’m a Jack of All Trades with a ton of experience across the board.

I’m always looking for ways to work with & partner with small businesses, local bands, venues, record labels…mostly just cool people bringing cool s**t to life. These people and businesses are the lifeblood of our communities and it’s so important that they exist. That’s my job in a nutshell, helping you get better at what you bring to your community by doing what *I’m* good at.
