Thank you for the kind messages, shared memories, and beautiful photos of our beloved café ☺️ They’ve meant more to us than we can say. Many of you have reached out and asked how you can support or help during this transition, and for that we are forever grateful. Right now, we are actively searching for the right person to carry this space forward. If you’re interested, please reach out. If you’re able to share with others who may be interested, please do. This place was made for joy, laughter, connection, and community, and it would break our hearts to see it sit empty for long.

It is with great sadness and utter heartbreak that we announce the sudden closure of The National Cafe, our beloved Walkers Point breakfast and lunch spot.

After our Lafayette Place tragedy and a painfully slow 2025, we kept hoping for a busy fall and holiday season that just never came.

We will miss our cafe. We will miss working with our favorite people. We will miss the smell of crispy bacon and cinnamon rolls. We will miss the hiss of our espresso machine…

And we will so so miss serving our beautiful and amazing customers with our brunch that was made with so much love 🫶
