Last night was a fantastic evening at the Wisconsin Forum as we welcomed Donald Luskin, Chief Investment Officer of Trend Macro and author of I Am John Galt.

Luskin delivered a thought-provoking discussion exploring the enduring tension between individualism and collectivism, drawing powerful connections to the ideas found in Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. The conversation sparked lively dialogue among a room full of thoughtful, engaged individuals who came ready to challenge ideas.

Thank you to our sponsors, members, and guests who continue to make these evenings possible. And a special thank you to Don Luskin for sharing his insights and helping make it a memorable night at the Wisconsin Forum.

The Wisconsin Forum 2025–26 Season of Dinner Meetings will open at The Ingleside Hotel on Thursday, October 2, 2025, with A Fireside Chat with Governor Scott Walker and Dan O’Donnell.

Former Governor Scott Walker and Milwaukee radio host Dan O’Donnell will take the stage for an engaging fireside chat that dives deep into today’s most pressing issues. From the looming threat of a federal government shutdown and its ripple effects on American families, to President Trump’s designation of Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, they’ll examine how national policy battles reverberate across Wisconsin and beyond. They may also touch on the legacy of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the broader movement he helped inspire.

But this evening won’t stop at the headlines. Expect a wide-ranging conversation on leadership, civic responsibility, and the defining challenges and opportunities of our time. From fiscal reform to education, election integrity, free speech, and America’s role in a turbulent world—no subject is off limits.

This is more than just another political discussion. It’s a rare opportunity to hear directly from two of Wisconsin’s most influential voices—one with decades of public service and governance experience, the other with a sharp, unfiltered perspective on the debates shaping our nation. Together, they’ll offer candid reflections, spirited dialogue, and timely insights into where we’ve been, where we stand, and where we’re headed.
