OSB finish experiment
I recently laminated two half inch pieces of standard osb to produce the shelf component of a bookcase partition. Running them multiple times through a drum sander produced a nice, cork like patterned surface. Multiple coats of poly on the top, and bondo filled and finished edges gave the client an unique system.
