Union Plus’s 6th annual Unions Power America campaign has kicked off and will run through Labor Day, starting with the Hometown Heroes Contest.
Through June 17, union members can nominate themselves or others to win by sharing more about how that union member goes the extra mile on the job, at home or in their community. There are $150,000 in contest prizes:
💰$40,000 Grand Prize (plus a holiday trip for two to New York City)
💰$20,000 First Prize
💰Two $10,000 Second Prizes
💰40 $1,986 Prizes (Union Plus was founded in 1986)

REMINDER- The June Delegate Meeting is NEXT WEEK Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:30pm. The meeting will be held IN-PERSON at 633 S. Hawley Rd in Yatchak Hall. There will be a hybrid option for those who need it.
🌭Please join us for a Solidarity BBQ beginning at 5:45pm before the meeting. There will be lots of food, drinks, and great conversation to kick off summer!🌭
🚧In addition to the I-94 freeway exit closures, Hawley Road is closed in both directions just North of the office. You will need to approach the building from the West via Main Street or from the South via Hawley Road/60th Street🚧
