The northernmost studio in Milwaukee County is the home studio of potter Jean Wells, Jean's Clay Studio in the village of Brown Deer. Tour Stop 16.
Jean hand-carves and paints colorful designs onto her functional stoneware pottery and works in a cosy little studio in the back of the garage. Attendees love to view the garden as well around their home lovingly tended by Jean's husband Bob.

Jean's two guest artists are:
Illinois Jeweler Amy "hinged jewelry" Taylor - Amy's jewelry is entirely fabricated & emphasizes movement, mechanism & unique hinge-work. She also incorporates gemstones, enamels & found objects.

Fabric artist Mock - Textiles for Body and Soul - Erika uses salvaged materials to sculpt zero-waste art to wear; free spirited richly colored accessories (wings!) to wake your body and perceptions.

New Studio Alert! Visit the lovely brand new studio of painter Susan LaBudde in Fox Point at Host Studio 15 next weekend on the MKE Studio Tour - Sable Squirrel Studio!
Susan works with color and humor in oil, pastel and mixed media.

RLNicholas Art - Rebekah Nicholas creates functional porcelain pottery along with reflective watercolor paintings.
- Heather Eiden is a ceramic artist and art educator. Her story and house tiles are a personal vocabulary of hand carved ceramic images.
Kim Schleicher Fine Art, LLC - Kim is a painter of flowers, landscapes, people, dogs and really anything that catches her eye!
- Tanina and Jared of Fox Croft Lane Pottery's work ranges from large hand glazed platters to sculptural face planters and everything whimsical in between!

Back for a second year in the Riverwest neighborhood of Milwaukee you will find sculptor Jason Blenkinsop at MKE Studio Tour stop 14.
Jason began welding after high school and started creating sculptures at the age of 18. Jason lost the majority of his vision in a motorcycle accident in 2004 leaving him legally blind. That didn't stop him from doing what he loves!
Jason now creates one of a kind sculptures from any metal he can get his hands on inside his home garage.

Looking for some unique pottery? At MKE Studio Tour Stop 13 you will find the home studio of potter John Bowers - JBC Pottery
You will also find John's guest potter, Michael Imes, who uses high fired stoneware clay to create fascinating pinch and coil sculptural and functional vessel forms.

On Saturday around Noon, John will be opening up his gas kiln. Come and see the results!

Tour Stop 16 in Brown Deer on the 8th Annual MKE Studio Tour!

At MKE Studio Tour Stop 12, You will find the home studio of Potter Francesco Carra - Carra Terra in Milwaukee's westside neighborhood of Cooper Park!
Francesco's Italian crafted, Milwaukee-made, wheel-thrown pottery is made for the table moments that make you stop, sit down and stay for a while.

This year, Francesco's guest will be artists Randy and Lisa Lee Tin Cat Studio who combine mixed media encaustic and photography to create impressionistic style images.
And coming back to his old neighborhood for the Tour, potter Andrew Linderman Pottery - Yippie!

MKE Studio Tour stop 11 is located in the west-side Mount Mary neighborhood of Milwaukee. There you will find the wonderful studio and fiber shop of Barbara Chappell- Fiberwood Studio
Barbara's handwoven designs focus on creating functional and beautiful textiles that utilize color, texture and interesting yarns in unusual ways.

Michael and Mary enjoy the meditative process of working slowly by hand and using traditional tools and techniques with a focus on fine design and craftsmanship. Michael and Mary say: “Wear Your Art!”

At Tour Stop 9 in Wauwatosa, you will find the home of mosaic artist Ann Wydeven!
Ann combines storytelling, color and texture in her ceramic and mosaic art.
