Wisconsin Husky Rescue

This is Indra. Her current owner is heartbroken to have to rehome her but she is losing her home soon and is hoping to find a new home flr Indra rhat is even better than her current home.

Indra is 6 years old, very sweet, tidy, and quiet. She absolutely needs a fenced in yard as it is all she has ever known. She is utd on all shots and exams. She adores people, ignore cats and gets along well with other dogs (as long as they aren’t super noisy, which she tends to shy away from). Ideally, her new home should be where she can go on regular walks and play fetch with a tennis ball on occasion.

She does treat guard and is fussy when getting her nails trimmed (so she gets her nails trimmed at the vet). She has lived with cats and another small dog in the past and got on well with all of them as long as treats are given separately.

Nikita is still looking for a home. She is located in Green Bay and is the epitome of a husky. Breed experience preferred.

Inu is a husky mix in need of a home. His family relocated out of the country and could bot take him with them. Inu loves other dogs and is great with children and people. He is shy at first. He is neutered and fully vetted with chip. He is 5 yrs old. He is 76 lbs. He is house trained, smart and great on a leash. He is heartworm negative. He is an amazing boy and will make a wonderful companion!

Unfortunately his family was unable to rehome Inu in time and he is now sitting in a crowded shelter in Texas. If you would love to help Inu, we can help arrange transport to get him here to Wisconsin.

Haley was found as a stray during a period of high temps last summer and was brought to the local shelter. They assumed she was dumped. She was never claimed. She is estimated to be about 1 to 2 years old, spayed, housebroken and utd on shots.

She was adopted once but sadly returned for having too much energy and separation anxiety. She can also be dog selective. It is unknown how she is with cats. She is good with older children and very friendly and loving.

The shelter is full and Haley needs a loving home ASAP. Haley is located at Mercer county shelter in Aledo Illinois. Can your home be her peace?

Ryker is 1.5 years old, house-trained, crate trained, and incredibly intelligent. He has been thriving with his foster and can’t wait to settle into his forever home. Playful, silly, loving, and so eager to please. He gets compliments on his stunning eyes and temperament everywhere he goes!

Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Santa Fe last October, Ryker has blossomed into an amazing companion who bonds so deeply. He is friendly at dog parks and generally non-reactive in public, making him a wonderful dog to bring along on all of your adventures.

He rides great in the car with many long road trips under his belt, settles well at home after exercise, and loves being near his people at all times. He loves flirt pole sessions, squeaky toys, and running off-leash ☀︎

His ideal home:
• Large fenced yard
• Daily exercise/play is a must!
• Someone home often
• Another dog would be a bonus ♡
• No cats
• Prefers older kids

Ava is a 12year old senior husky looking for a home where she can spend the last of her years being a husky. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She is good with older kids that will respect her and her space. She is great with other dogs but she is an alpha female and has always managed to create a pack mentality. She has a very high prey drive so no cats or small dogs. She also needs a home with a fenced in secure yard as she still likes her adventures. For the most part, Ava is very mellow and independent. She likes to sleep during the day but still likes her morning and evening short walks. She doesn't care to go too far these days.

She is located in Southwest Wisconsin, but her current owner is willing to travel for the perfect home. There is no rehoming fee but breed experience is a must.

Layla is in need of a new home. She is a pure bred Husky who just turned 4 years old. She is current on all of her shots. She is food aggressive and should be the only fur-baby in the house because of this. Othereise she is super sweet, loyal and extremely loveable. She is located in Shawano, Wisconsin and is good with cats and kids as long as they don’t go near her food. She is intact and will need am agreement from her new home that they will get her fixed. Storm is a wonderful girl who needs to get a new home asap. Storm is 4 yrs old, female, spayed and up to date with vaccines. She has a wonderful temperament and is great with other dogs and kids.
