Design is very often a process of editing down a space to the fewest moves possible for its essence to shine. Clean walls, white oak cabinetry and natural light repeat throughout this home. The result is a simple, calm, cohesive backdrop for this family’s life.

The primary suite is a calm oasis overlooking the ocean. A simple palette of wood and tile create a spa-like feel, perfect for relaxation and repose. The waves help, too.

The big design move was to open up a compartmentalized series of small spaces to unite the living hall and provide views. Kitchen, Dining and Living all capitalize on the Pacific Ocean setting.
