Huge admiration for an artist I fell in love with during the blogosphere days (!) - an artist you could instantly tell is a pure, brave, honest, courageous version of himself when the tape is running. Or at least I think so- maybe it’s all a mirage? Impressive either way.

Whilst I found solace in leaving Kent (canterbury being my place of birth), Patrick went the other way- finding peace in the bucolic and lowkey self-titled ‘garden of england’. Somehow I ended up here in Milwaukee (as eulogised by myself in both song and person)

It’s just me, people want the raw unvarnished single human, no hiding- and that is what will be delivered. Thx for having me. My last local one of the year on the books, special, let’s go!

what a joy to have been traipsing the southwest with my homie - wonderful songwriter and person- his song “small words” has not left my head in a week

like all of life’s pain (live alone, die alone, etc) i must part ways with my friend and head onwards.. alone. the good news is that the destination is shows in texas, and my first time in nola/mississippi… where I will not be alone, because I will be with you

oh and phoenix / the format reunion show was craaaazy and a wonderful time with a great crew
