Come sing with us! We’re still working through the rebuild, it’s starting to look like a bar again!

Come by on Thursday, May 21st from 7-11 pm to GLD's speakeasy bar to sip, sing, and repeat at our karaoke pop up! Nine months ago, The High Note Karaoke Lounge sustained significant water damage, forcing karaoke to pause and leaving staff without work. But, renovations are almost complete and it's time to get Milwaukee pumped for their return! One of The High Note's own will be behind the bar. See you there!

Update for you all, the physical bar was a total loss as well as all of the existing flooring along with the walls we mentioned last week. We’re looking at a few months of being closed minimum BUT! We will be back well rested with a better show, and a better bar! Can’t wait to sing with you all again ASAP! - Evan

Water is truly the greatest force of nature. Silver lining, Evan may finally get to build a new bar with NO SLANT on the arm rest! 😂

To clarify, we have income protection insurance, we will be paying our staff for their lost hours with this flood. While the insurance is being worked out as this is a lot of our staffs primary income I am asking for your help keeping our staff financially sound in the interim.

Milwaukee karaoke bar temporarily closed due to flooding mess A plumbing mishap in an upstairs unit sent gallons of water pouring into The High Note.

Unfortunately we’re going to be closed a bit longer than initially suspected. All going well we will be singing with you all again in a couple weeks. In an abundance of caution and an unwillingness to let our environment get any of you sick several walls will need to be removed and rebuilt. See you all soon, with an improved show and a better bar!

We’re temporarily closed due to water damage, we will keep you all updated as we work through the issues and replace equipment.
