Tomorrow marks exactly 2 months since I’ve been teaching officially. I say officially because I’ve considered myself a teacher my whole life. Since long nights helping my brother with his homework back in 05’ when my mom worked 2 jobs. I’ve always said I wanted to become an educator. I kept with my passion, followed the way God lead my heart and put work into this despite every set back. Now, I’m really doing it!! Really changing lives and molding the minds of the future in one of the most segregated cities in America. My reflections tonight have been deeper than usual. And for that I’m so greatful.
